What interns are saying about MCCSN

David Reddick

I had the opportunity to intern with Clara and MCCSN one summer. This may have been the single best decision I have ever made when it came to my career. I am currently a Councilman for Anniston, and I used the skills I learned working for Clara Carter to run for this office. Under Clara’s guidance I learned the basics of event planning, hospitality and tourism, organizing and many other skills that transformed me into a well-oiled machine when it comes to organizing.

Nisha Brooks

I was an intern at the Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network for 5 months. During that time, I had endless opportunities to work on conferences and events that were brought to San Diego. Clara provided me with expert wisdom on event management and I was able to learn all the tricks of the trade from her. It was a really enjoyable and valuable experience for me. After completing my internship with MCCSN I went on to work for the Australian Trade Commission in Los Angeles and organized and coordinated the Australian Pavilion at the largest mining expo in the world MINExpo in Las Vegas. I am currently completing my Masters in Primary Education in Sydney, Australia and hope to move into primary teaching (where my events management skills will still be put to good use trying to manage the children in my class :).
All the best in the future!

Clara has a very great personality. She is your boss and your colleague with a great sense of humor at the same time. I had the big opportunity to learn a lot from her, as my boss and as a friend. Everyone should be happy to be her employee/intern. Thanks Clara!

Monica Purnell Haskin

I had the honor of completing my internship under Clara Carter with MCCSN. Clara is a highly professional and electrifying individual who has helped me learn what it takes to create, maintain, and grow a business. She strives for nothing but more than the best with her clients and focuses on developing a highly skilled and knowledgeable worker with her interns. Clara Carter helped to build my confidence in my work environment and guided me in the direction of my career goals while genially being a humorous and charismatic mentor. Thank you Clara!

Irma Martinez

The six months I spent working for the Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network gave me the opportunity to experience a unique business culture. Miss Clara Carter provided me with all the tools I needed to excel in a business environment. She introduced me to several outstanding people throughout my experience who taught me about success in this business industry. My time abroad also provided me the opportunity to apply my theory-based knowledge about meeting and event management that I accumulated in my classes in a real-world setting. Thanks to the knowledge and the personal-growth I achieved while working for MCCSN, I feel confident about my career future.
